We are delighted to announce the launch of a new EuroSoTL Special Interest Group (SIG) on Case Method in Higher Education. This SIG offers an exciting opportunity for colleagues who teach, research, or are simply curious about case‐based learning to come together, share experiences, and explore its potential for advancing student learning and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).

The case method is a powerful pedagogical approach that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and real‐world problem solving. Whether you design your own cases, adapt existing ones, or investigate case‐based learning as a research topic, this SIG will provide a collegial space to connect with like-minded educators across disciplines and institutions.

Our goals are to exchange practical strategies for case design, teaching, and assessment; to collaborate on innovative projects and research; and to reflect on how the case method shapes higher education practice. Activities will include online meet-ups, resource sharing, and dedicated sessions at EuroSoTL conferences.

We warmly welcome new members, whether you are experienced in the case method or just beginning your journey. Join us to build networks, spark ideas, and contribute to a growing community of practice.
