Conference Theme:
The second EuroSoTL conference took place at Lund University, Sweden, on June 7-9 2017. The conference theme was ‘Transforming patterns through the scholarship of teaching and learning’. The conference gathered 210 participants from 19 countries, for almost 100 offered sessions in different formats (paper and poster presentations, roundtable conversations, panels, workshops, and keynotes).
The Joanna Renc-Roe Award
Official recognition for pushing the boundaries of SoTL was initiated at this conference, and awarded to Chris Borstad, Mads Forchhammer, and Tove M. Gabrielsen at the University Centre in Svalbard, Norway, for their contribution ‘Active learning and course alignment in thematically complex courses’.
