The EuroSoTL Network

The EuroSoTL Network is a vibrant community of higher education educators, staff, and students dedicated to and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in Europe.

At its core, SoTL is both an academic community and a field of work that supports scholarly explorations of teaching, learning, and academia across disciplines in the context of higher education. SoTL can take various forms, with typical activities including:

• Systematic inquiry into teaching and learning (e.g., empirical research)
• Sharing scholarly outputs, such as through academic publications, conferences, institutional events
• Contributing to scholarly communities and bodies of work
• Collaborations with scholars across/within disciplines, institutions, and geographies
