The EuroSoTL 2025 Conference, themed “Making Connections through the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL),” seeks group facilitators for the EuroSoTL Collaborative Writing Groups (ESCWGs). Facilitators will lead international teams to co-create scholarly articles on teaching and learning, focusing on building connections across diverse educational contexts.

Facilitator Role: Facilitators will guide groups of 6-7 members through the collaborative process from January 2025 to March 2026. This will include online work and a face-to-face session at the EuroSoTL pre-conference workshop on June 17, 2025, in Groningen, Netherlands. Your role will involve:

  • Leading idea generation and article development.
  • Ensuring collaboration across global participants.
  • Supporting innovative SoTL contributions.

Timeline:

  • November 15, 2024: Facilitator applications due.
  • December 5, 2024: Facilitators announced.
  • January 2025: Group work begins.
  • June 17, 2025: In-person workshop at EuroSoTL.
  • March 2026: Final articles submitted.

Application Process: Submit the following by November 15, 2024:

  • A 300-word proposal connecting your topic to the EuroSoTL 2025 theme.
  • A 100-word statement on your suitability as a facilitator.

This is an excellent opportunity to build global networks, enhance leadership skills, and contribute to SoTL. Facilitators receive waived pre-conference registration.
