Call for Participants: EuroSoTL 2025 Collaborative Writing Groups (ESCWGs)
We are excited to announce the launch of the EuroSoTL 2025 Collaborative Writing Groups (ESCWGs), an incredible opportunity for scholars across the globe to engage in collaborative writing on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). This year, we invite you to connect with colleagues from diverse disciplines and explore the theme: Making Connections through the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
About the ESCWGs
The ESCWGs are an innovative initiative designed to bring together scholars to develop scholarly articles based on their experiences in SoTL. The groups will work collaboratively on articles that focus on different aspects of teaching, learning, and educational research. This is your chance to share your unique perspectives and contribute to a globally significant conversation in education.
Participant Expectations and Commitment
Participants will engage in remote work with their writing groups, meeting regularly through 2025, and attend an in-person writing day on June 17, 2025, in Groningen, Netherlands. Following the writing day, participants will also attend the EuroSoTL 2025 Conference. Articles will be finalized and submitted by March 2026.
It is essential to note that participants are expected to commit fully to the process, including attending the in-person writing day and participating in the conference. While participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and conference fees, the collaboration will provide an enriching experience with international colleagues.
How to Apply
To participate in the ESCWGs, please complete the Call for Participant form before the deadline of January 15, 2025. We recommend reviewing the group descriptions carefully and selecting your first and second group preferences in the application form.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by January 15, 2025 at 6:00 PM (UK Time).
Notification of Acceptance: Participants will be notified by January 22, 2025.
