Do you sometimes feel like you are the only one in your discipline working SoTL? Perhaps there isn’t much support for SoTL at your own institution, or maybe you simply want to connect with colleagues across Europe who share your passion. Would you like a space to exchange ideas, learn from others, and collaborate on a theme that excites you?
That is exactly what a Special Interest Group (SIG) can offer. A SIG is a community where lecturers, researchers, and education professionals come together around a shared theme to exchange experiences and develop new ideas for teaching and learning.
At EuroSoTL we are in the early stages of developing SIGs, and the very first initiatives are taking shape. Right now there are no established SIGs – which makes this the perfect moment to either start one yourself or keep an eye out for upcoming groups you might want to join.
Curious about how it works? Take a look at How to start a SIG. We would love to support you in bringing your initiative to life, and in helping SoTL flourish across Europe (and beyond).
